Your Gift Changes Lives

My name is Elizabeth Graham. During the summer of 2004, my daughter and I were living in a
tent along the Feather River. The Butte College Foundation provided the scholarship I needed to
turn my life around. It has enabled me to complete two associate degrees at Butte College and to
graduate with Phi Theta Kappa honors for academic excellence.
While I was a Political Science major at CSU, Chico, I was selected to participate in a
prestigious congressional internship in Washington D.C. To learn more about the time I spent in Washington with a California member of the U.S. House
of Representatives, follow my story on my blog: Mrs. Graham goes to Washington.
I cannot say enough about how much the Butte College Foundation scholarship helped me while I pursued my education. I needed someone to believe in me, and with your help I was able to complete my degree.
